Someone play taps

A sad state of affairs. I have lost my director of choice, the estimable and talented Nick DeGruccio.
LATC and the director of the show prior to my proposed production threw me under the bus. And in doing so, forced my beloved director no choice but to drop out of the production.

This is hopefully not insurmountable. But the mountain is looking pretty steep right about now. Not much time before we are supposed to go up. I am praying, praying and praying. Join me?

Ouch!

Experiencing some pain and discomfort. Knowing that life is not always that easy.
Have now been bounced around hither and thither with the upcoming production of THE GOOD BOY at LATC. Don't quite know where we are or where things are headed. But I am hopeful.
Pray, peace, love and joy.

Beat the drums!

Met with dear friend and kind Good Boy supporter Flori Schutzer, a fundraising expert, on how to proceed with obtaining the funds we will need to co-produce this production. I am looking at this as an opportunity to really do the kind of show we need to, in order to take this play to the next level.

We have a meeting scheduled with LATC tomorrow to discuss details. Pray.

I am living in a hopeful place. Thanks to all and may this lead to effortless success.

Life is just a bowl of cherries

A major hurdle has been placed in front of our upcoming production of The Good Boy at LATC. The "economy" has forced their budgetary hands and now we need to raise money in order to get the show on the boards. The mother of invention is being called upon. More shall be revealed.

The Good Boy starts his march

This is a big week. For The Good Boy.
Meeting my exciting new director, Nick DeGruccio, to start work, and meeting with the LATC Artistic Director, Jose Luis Vanlenzuela, to discuss specifics and scheduling for our upcoming new production. Wow!

This is really happening folks.

The wheels are turning...

...and now we are heading toward the light!
Have meetings this week with my new director, the highly esteemed Nick DeGruccio and with The Good Boy's new theatrical home, Los Angeles Theatre Center.

So now that the 99¢ Show has wrapped up its' spectacular run at The Bootleg, sadly, it's on to my next adventure...

Time to talk about The Good Boy!

I am excited to say that the Los Angeles Theater Center has scheduled a new production of my solo play as a part of their Spring Season! Wow! So now the journey begins. I will be looping y'all in on the upcoming schedule and information as soon as possible. I look forward to sharing this story again soon.
